Are you new to AA?
If you're new to AA, or thinking about checking AA out, there are probably a lot more questions on your mind than our short FAQ can answer. This page has some quality information on how to get help.
Is AA for you?
If
you're part of the "Thinking about AA" variety (which we all were, once),
this is a great place to start for information. Its an online version of
an AA pamphlet called, appropriately, "is
AA for you?" If you're having any doubts, this
should help.
How to Contact AA
In the U.S./Canada: Look for "Alcoholics Anonymous" in any telephone directory. In most urban areas, a Central A.A. office, or "Intergroup," staffed mainly by volunteer A.A. s, will be happy to answer your questions and/or put you in touch with those who can. Or, you can write or call:
A.A. World Services, Inc.
P.O. Box 459
New York, NY 10163
(212) 870-3400.
Also, visit the website: http://aa.org
Outside of U.S./Canada, write or call the General Service Office located closest to you.
